Gillard experiment a spectacular failure

Published

A poll conducted by Galaxy Research has concluded that the Labour Party experiment to replace Kevin Rudd with Julia Gillard as prime minister has been a ‘spectacular failure’.

The poll gives the Labor Party 31% of the vote compared with 31% in June 2010. For the same period the Liberal Party led coalition has gone up from 42% to 49%. The Greens have made a small rise from 11% to 12%.

When interviewees were asked if they thought the Labor Party was worse or better today than under Kevin Rudd two years ago then 20% said better and 64% said worse.
