77% vote yes in referendum


Around 77% of the 18.5 million people who voted in the constitutional referendum have voted for the proposed reforms.

The turnout was around 41% of the 45 million eligible voters, a stark contrast from the 6 million who bothered to vote in the November 2010 parliamentary elections.
