Another minister goes

Labour Minister Carlos Lupi of the Democratic Labour Party (PDT) is the latest minister to resign from President Dilma Roussef’s Cabinet following mounting corruption allegations. The minister also faced a unanimous call last week from the Public Ethics Committee of the Brazilian Presidency for him to be sacked for gross mismanagement.

He was quickly replaced by Paulo Roberto dos Santos Pinto the ministry’s Executive secretary.
