Bachelet changes Justice, Energy and National Assets Ministers

President Michelle Bachelet has carried out a minor reshuffle of her Cabinet.

Jaime Campos Quiroga is to become the new Minister of Justice and Human Rights. He replaces Javiera Blanco. Jaime Campos (63) is a lawyer and former agriculture minister.

Andrés Rebolledo Smitmans is to replace Máximo Pacheco as Minister of Energy. Andrés Rebolledo (48) is an academic teaching economics at the University of Chile. He was formerly Chile’s Ambassador to Uruguay.

Nivia Palma will replace Victor Osorio as the Minister of National Assets. Nivia Palma (56) is a lawyer and academic. She was previously the Director of Libraries, Archives and Museums of Chile.
