Cabinet approves reshuffle of senior officials

In a move that is seen to strengthen the new Pheu Thai Party’s grip on government, the Cabinet has approved moves for a number of officials from various key departments. New appointments will come into effect on 1st October.

The main departments affected include the Anti-Money Laundering Office (Amlo), the Agriculture and Cooperatives Ministry, the Justice Ministry (where seven key officials are being moved), the Tourism and Sports Ministry and three officials at the Transport Ministry.
