Communications Minister defects from Jammeh

Gambia’s Minister of Information and Communications, Sheriff Bojang, has announced that he is resigning from his portfolio. In his message sent to Reuters he made it clear that he was resigning in protest over the failure of President Jammeh to step down after being defeated in December’s presidential election to Adama Barrow.
