Egypt has another new Cabinet


Prime Minister Sherif Ismail appointed his new Cabinet on Saturday with ministers taking the oath before President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

The ministries of health and population have been merged, as have the ministries of technical education and education and the ministries of scientific research and higher education. The Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Interior, Justice and Defence in the outgoing government retained their posts.

The new ministers appointed as published on the State Information Service website are as follows:

Nabila Makram Abdel Shaheed Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs
Yasser el Qady Minister of Communications
Sahar Nasr Minister of International Cooperation
Saad el Geyoushi Minister of Transport
Essam Fayed Minister of Agriculture
Ashraf Shihi Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research
Gamal Sorour Minister of Manpower
Tareq el Molla Minister of Petroleum
El Helali el Sherbini Minister of Education and Technical Education
Magdy el Agati Minister of Legal Affairs and House of Representatives
Mohamed el Assar Minister of Military Production
Ahmed Zaki Badr Minister of Local Development
Hisham Zaazou Minister of Tourism
