Grace Mendonça is new Attorney General

President Michel Temer has appointed his first woman Cabinet Minister. In a press release published on Friday the president announced that the new Attorney General would be Dr. Grace Maria Fernandes Mendonça. She replaces Dr. Fábio Medina Osório.

Grace Mendonça (47) graduated in law at the Unified Education Association of the Federal District in 1990. She is a specialist in civil procedural law and has a Master’s in constitutional law from the Brasiliense Institute of Public Law. She has taught law as a Professor at the Catholic University of Brasilia after several appointments in the private and public sector.
