Health Minister Tomaž Gantar

Published

A second minister has resigned from Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek’s government. The first was Economy Minister Stanko Stepišnik, but yesterday Health Minister Tomaž Gantar also resigned saying that he had been unable to make reforms to the health system that he had hoped.

A Cabinet reshuffle was likely with the first resignation and now becomes necessary as the prime minister tries to calm the parliamentary situation.
