Justice Minister resigns

Published

Justice Minister, Hernando Paris, has resigned from the Cabinet of President Laura Chinchilla. He has cited personal reasons and having fulfilled his commitments to the president as the reason for leaving.

The Minister of Sport resigned in January and the Minister of Transport resigned earlier this month. Neither position has yet been filled and the president is expected to make new appointments when she returns from Europe later this month.
