Kalzubé Pahimi Deubet is new Prime Minister

President Idriss Déby has appointed a new Prime Minister after the previous Prime Minister Joseph Djimrangar Dadnadji tendered his resignation following the tabling of a motion of censure against his government in parliament.

The new prime minister is Kalzubé Pahimi Deubet an economist and former Minister of Communications as well as Minister of the Public Service. Other members of the government also resigned in accordance with the constitutional requirements and the new prime minister has said that he will announce a new Cabinet probably on Saturday.
