Key makes the changes

Prime Minister John Key has carried out a minor Cabinet reshuffle as a result of the resignation of Dr Nick Smith last week. Smith was forced to resign after admitting a conflict of interest in his former role.

The new ministers are:

David Carter; Minister for Local Government (He retains his role as Minister for Primary Industries)
Amy Adams; Minister for the Environment
Tim Groser; Minister for Climate Change Issues
Chris Tremain; Minister for Internal Affairs

Simon Bridges has joined the Executive as a Minister outside Cabinet. He is to become the new Minister for Consumer Affairs Minister and Associate Minister of Transport.
