Mini Cabinet reshuffle after ministerial death

Published

Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai has been forced into a mini Cabinet reshuffle after minister for public services, Elphas Mukonoweshuro, died.

Lucia Matibenga has replaced Mukonoweshuro in the vacant Public Service portfolio. The Prime Minister also appointed Seiso Moyo as Deputy Minister for Agriculture Mechanisation and Irrigation Development. He has filled the gap left when President Robert Mugabe refused to swear in Roy Bennett in the post.

Both new ministers were sworn in by the president yesterday.
