His position as Finance Minister has been filled by José Antonio Meade. Meade has considerable experience in the finance ministry and was previously Energy Minister.

Jordy Herrera Flores becomes the new Energy Minister.

Meanwhile, José Ángel Córdova resigned as Health Minister and was replaced by Salomón Chertorivski. Córdova is expected to stand in his home state as a state governor next year.
