Minister Sacked others switch jobs

Published

Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has sacked the Transport and Labour Minister, Sarita Giri, for apparent malpractices. The minister has denied the charges and has said that she can prove cases of corruption amongst public officials.

Meanwhile the prime minister has done a job swap between two ministers because, apparently, they were having difficulties working with other ministers in their departments. State Minister for Land Reforms and Management Jwala Sah and State Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Dilip Maharjan will now swap responsibilities.
