Minor reshuffle takes place

President Ma Ying-jeou has carried out a limited Cabinet (Executive Yuan) reshuffle.

Y.L. Lin has been appointed as the new Minister of Foreign Affairs. Former Foreign Minister Timothy Yang will now take up the post of Presidential Office Secretary-General.

Wang Yu-chi has been appointed as the Mainland Affairs Council minister.

Opposition parties have accused the president of cronyism and said that he should have replaced the whole Cabinet.
