New Cabinet announced

Prime Minister designate Mihai Razvan Ungureanu has announced his Cabinet line up following the resignation of the former government earlier this week.

The opposition decided to boycott the committee hearings for the new ministers and have also said that they will boycott parliament today as the new prime minister and his Cabinet are approved. The ruling Democratic Liberal Party and its coalition partners have more than the 233 votes needed between them to get the vote passed.

The Cabinet as announced is as follows:

Lucian Bode Economy, Commerce and Business Environment Minister
Cristian Diaconescu Foreign Affairs Minister
Gabriel Oprea National Defence Minister
Catalin Predoiu Justice Minister
Kelemen Hunor Culture and National Patrimony Minister
Ladis┬Člau Ritli Health Minister
Laszlo Borbely Environment and Forests Minister
Leonard Orban European Affairs Minister
Gabriel Oprea Administration and Interior Minister
Alexandru Nazare Transport and Infrastructure Minister
Cristian Petrescu Regional Development and Tourism Minister
Razvan Mustea Communications and information Society Minister
Claudia Boghicevici Labour, Family and Social Protection Minister
Catalin Baba Education, Research, Youth and Sport Minister
Stelian Fuia Agriculture and Rural Development Minister

The new government has also put to parliament a programme which has yet to be approved.
