New Cabinet announced

Following the dismissal of the entire Cabinet on Monday, President Nursultan Nazarbayev has completed his new appointments. As previously reported the president appointed former Prime Minister Karim Masimov as his Chief of staff. The new prime minister has been named as Serik Akhmetov.

In addition the official news agency Kazinform reports that; In line with the Decree and based on the Article 44 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan the following appointments have been made:

Asset Issekeshev Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Industry and New Technologies
Assylzhan Mamytbekov Minister of Agriculture
Berik Imashev Minister of Justice
Bakytzhan Zhumagulov Minister of Education and Science
Salidat Kairbekova Minister of Healthcare
Askar Zhumagaliyev Minister of Transport and Communications
Bolat Zhamishev Minister of Finance
Adilbek Dzhaksybekov Minister of Defence
Nurlan Kapparov Minister of Environmental Protection
Darkhan Mynbai Minister of Culture and Information
Sauat Mynbayev Minister of Oil and Gas
Vladimir Bozhko Minister of Emergencies
Kalmukhanbet Kassymov Minister of Internal Affairs
