New Cabinet announced six months after election

A new Prime Minister and Cabinet for Kosovo was confirmed yesterday in parliament nearly six months after the 8th June general election.

Isa Mustafa of the centre-right Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) was confirmed as the new Prime Minister whilst the former Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi of the centre-right Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) became Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Isa Mustafa was elected Prime Minister by 73 votes in favour, 38 against and two abstentions.

The full list of the new Cabinet which comprises of LDK and PDK members is as follows:
