New Cabinet unveiled

The new Romanian Prime Minister, Victor Ponta has appointed a new Cabinet which will last until the general election later this year.

The new Cabinet comprises embers of Mr Ponta’s Social Democratic Party (PSD), the National Liberal Party (PNL) and the Conservative Party (PC). The new Prime Minister has appointed the First Deputy Governor of the Romanian Central Bank (BNR), Florin Georgescu, as the new Finance Minister.
