New government approved

Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe’s new government was approved by the Chamber of Deputies by 70 votes to 6 against yesterday afternoon and will be sworn in today.

The full list of the Cabinet as reported in the Haitian Post is given below:

Laurent Lamothe Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cults
Ralph Theano Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister responsible for relations with Parliament
Rose Anne Marie Carmelle Auguste Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister for Human Right and the
fight against extreme poverty
Yanick Mézil Minister for Women’s Affairs and Women’s Rights
Jean Mario Dupuy Minister of Culture
Jean Gardy Ady Communications Minister
Reginald Paul Minister of Education and Training
