New Information minister

President Ma Ying-jeou has appointed Philip Yang as the new minister at the Government Information Office (GOI).

Yang was formerly a senior advisor at Taiwan’s National Security Council (2008 – 2010) and is currently Professor of Political Science at the National Taiwan University. He will take up his post on 2nd May 2011.
