Partial Cabinet approved

Mongolia‚Äôs State Great Khural (Parliament) has approved most of the new Cabinet following elections in June which were won by the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP). The new government will have 16 ministers.

J. Munhbat Minister of Mongolia, Head of the Cabinet
D. Oyunhorol Minister of Environment and Tourism
Ts. Munh-Orgil Minister of Foreign Affairs
B. Choijilsuren Minister of Finance
S. Byambatsogt Minister of Justice
N. Nomtoibayar Minister of Labour and Social Welfare
B. Bat-Erdene Minister of Defence
J. Batsuuri Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports
D. Ganbat Minister of Road
Ts. Dashdorj Minister of Mining and Heavy Industries
The following Ministers have not been approved after objections by President Tsakhia Elbegdorj
G. Unurbolor Minister of Construction and Urban Planning
Ts. Anandbazar Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industries
D. Tsengel Minister of Energy
J. Tsolmon Minister of Health
