Petro Poroshenko is new trade minister

President Viktor Yanukovych made three changes to his Cabinet yesterday.

Petro Poroshenko has become the new Minister for Economic Development and Trade . He was head of the Council of the National Bank of Ukraine from 2007 and then served as foreign minister from 2009 to 2011.

Valery Khoroshkovsky has been appointed as the country’s first deputy prime minister with special responsibility for European integration. He was the Finance Minister prior to the reshuffle.

Whilst Yury Kolobov replaces Khoroshkovsky as the new Finance Minister. He previously served as deputy chief of the Ukrainian Central Bank.
