Petroleum and Energy Minister appointed

President Adama Barrow of The Gambia has continued his appointment of ministers. Yesterday he appointed Fafa Sanyang as his new Minister of Petroleum and Energy. The process of appointing ministers has been going on since early February.

Sanyang has a BSc in geology from the University of Sierra Leone and an MSc in engineering geology from the University of Leeds (United Kingdom). He has been Commissioner of Petroleum since 2006.
