President announces new Cabinet

Last week President Alpha Condé announced his new Prime Minister as Mamady Youla and yesterday a new Cabinet was declared. The new Cabinet now has 31 ministers and a significant number are women. There are six new ministers and four changes to ministerial portfolios.

The announcement of the new government on the presidential website stated that the objective of the new team will include job creation and strengthening of training, particularly for youth and women, improving the framework for investment in Guinea, and support for local businesses, real engine of the economy.

The full list of the new Cabinet as announced on the Presidency website is as follows:
