President appoints Sylvie Durán Salvatierra as Culture Minister

President Luis Guillermo Solís has appointed Sylvie Durán Salvatierra as the new Minister of Culture and Youth. She had been the acting minister after the President dismissed Elizabeth Fonseca Corrales and two of her deputy ministers after the 2015 International Arts Festival (FIA) flopped due to poor management and cancellations.
