President Hadi makes changes to Central Bank and Cabinet

President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi has carried out a reshuffle of his Cabinet. He has also reorganised the Central Bank, including moving its headquarters from Sana’a to Aden where some ministers are currently based. He has made the finance minister, Saleh Mohamed al-Quaiti, head of the Central Bank.

The other changes to the Cabinet are as follows:

Muammar al-Eryani; Minister of Information

Mohammed Abdul Majeed Qubati; Minister of Tourism

Ahmed Obaid al-Fadhli; Minister of Finance

Zban Ahmed Attiya; Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Guidance

Hussein Abdulrahman Basalama; Minister of Higher Education

Abdullah Salem Meles; Minister of Education

Marwan Damaj; Minister of Culture

Abdulghani Jameel; Minister of State Secretary

Abdulrab Saleh Aslami; Minister of State
