President makes minor reshuffle

President Michael Sata has carried out a minor Cabinet reshuffle which separates tourism from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Labour from the Ministry of information.

The new appointments are as follows:

Sylvia Masebo; Minister of Tourism and Arts
Edgar Lungu; Minister for Home Affairs
Kennedy Sakeni; Minister of Information and Broadcasting
Fackson Shamenda; Minister of Labour.

Given Lubinda will retain his position as Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The president also made three key civil service appointments:

Dr Velepi Mtonga; Permanent Secretary at the Public Service Division
Pamela Chibonga; Permanent Secretary in charge of Budget and Economic affairs at the Ministry of Finance.
Felix Nkulukusa; Permanent Secretary in charge of Management and Finance at the Ministry of Finance.
