President reshuffles Minsters

President John Dramani Mahama has carried out what is likely to be the last reshuffle of his Cabinet before a general election slated for 7th November.

The president made a number of changes to his ministers and ministers of state as follows:

Julius Debrah; Minister for Local Government and Rural Development

Yaw Effah Baafi; Deputy Minister for Chieftaincy and Traditional Affairs

Franklin Fiavi Fifi Kwetey; Minister for Transport

Alhaji Mohammed Muniru Limuna; Minister for Food & Agriculture

Mark Woyongo; Minister of State to the Presidency

Prosper Douglas Bani; Minister Designate for the Interior

Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye; Minister Designate for Youth & Sports

John Alexander Ackon; Minister Designate for the Ashanti Region

Kweku Ricketts Hagan; Minister Designate for the Central Region

Mavis Ama Frimpong; Minister Designate for the Eastern Region

Abdallah Abubakari; Minister Designate for the Northern Region

Albert Abongo; Minister Designate for the Upper East Region
