President Sebastián Piñera names new Cabinet


Following bad results in recent municipal elections President Sebastián Piñera has carried out a re-shuffle of his government.

The Public Works Minister, Laurence Golborne and Defence Minister Andrés Allamand have both been released from their posts because they are presidential hopefuls for next year’s presidential election. President Piñera urged them to cover every town and region across the country and sell the message of the government.
