Public Works Minister resigns

Abdul-Aziz Al-Ibrahim, Kuwait’s Minister of Public Works, Electricity and Water has resigned his portfolio. State Minister for Housing Affairs Yaser Aboul has been appointed as acting Minister for the portfolio.

Although no reason was given for the resignation it comes a day after the Minister accused Members of Parliament of taking payments of up to KD 350,000 to question him.
