Regional Affairs Minister resigns

Maria Carmela Lanzetta has resigned from Prime Minister Matteo Renzi’s Cabinet. She was Minister for Regional Affairs and Autonomies.

The Minister resigned her position to take up a new role in charge of institutional reform, culture, education and equal opportunity in the Calabrian government. She was formerly Mayor of Monsterace within the Calabrian region from 2006 to 2013.
