Reshuffle finally happens

After months of feeding speculation, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh finally concluded a Cabinet reshuffle.

Five Cabinet Ministers tendered their resignations, Dayanidhi Maran, Murli Deora, B.K. Handique, Dr. M.S. Gill and Kanti Lal Bhuria along with two Ministers of State, A. Sai Prathap and Arun S. Yadav.

Seven new ministers were brought in to the Union Council of Ministers; V Kishore Chandra Deo, Dinesh Trivedi, Sudip Bandopadhyaya, Charan Das Mahant, Jitendra Singh, Milind Deora and Rajiv Shukla.
