Social Democrats name their new Government

Following the 11th December general election the centre-left Social Democratic Party (PSD) and the centre-right Alliance of Liberals and Democrats (ALDE) have agreed a programme for a new coalition and formed a Cabinet. The PSD will have 23 ministers and ALDE will have four ministers all of whom have to be approved in a special parliamentary session today.

The new government will be led by Prime Minister-designate Sorin Grindeanu and the list of Cabinet ministers as published on the Romanian National News Agency website (Agerpres) is as follows:
