Tomu Medveda is new Minister of Veterans Affairs

Published

Croatian Prime Minister Tihomir Orešković has announced that Tomu Medveda is to be the new Minister of Veterans Affairs. He replaces Mijo Crnoja who resigned after six days in the job in January having been reported as having registered himself at a non-existent address in an area (Samobor near Zagreb) with low income taxes.

Tomu Medveda is a retired Brigadier General and was President of the Association of War Veterans. Medveda is a representative of the Patriotic Coalition, the alliance of eight parties led by the centre-right Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ).
