Tourism Minister sacked

Published

President Michael Sata sacked his Minister of Tourism and Arts, Sylvia Masebo, yesterday according to a presidential spokesman. The Times of Zambia reports that the minister had been in trouble recently on several occasions for apparent breach of the Parliamentary and Ministerial Code of Conduct.

The President carried out a reshuffle of his Cabinet earlier this month and, as yet, no successor has been named for the Minister of Tourism.
