Two new Ministers appointed

Published

President Klaus Iohannis has sworn in two new ministers.

Gratiela Gavrilescu moves from Minister of Relations with Parliament to become the new Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Environment. He replaces Daniel Constantin.

Viorel Ilie becomes the new Minister of Relations with Parliament.

The changes have come about because of an internal dispute with the junior partner in the coalition government, the centre-right Alliance of Liberals and Democrats (ALDE).
